A special friend

Everyone comes into your life for a reason. I am sure many of you have heard this before, and some probably think this is true. I have to say that during my four years at High Point University I was blessed to come in contact with a number of individuals. During my couple of months at HPU I was unsure if it was the right place for me. I was homesick and regretting going to school 8 hours away from home. I was considering transfering schools. I knew I wasn't happy at HPU and I didn't think that was ever going to change. Well towards the end of my first semester at HPU I met someone that has become my best friend in the whole entire world. I am referring to my friend Markiesha! I never thought I would meet someone like her. It was like we clicked as soon as we met. Our friendship continued to grow stronger and stronger throughout the next year and a half. I could always count on her when I was having a bad day or just needed someone to talk to. She was always there. I don't really know how to explain our connection. It's like we understand each other. We talk about everything from politics, religion, tv shows, and everyday life. I never thought in a million years that our friendship would have grown into what it is now. I am truly blessed to have her in my life and I wouldn't change it for the world. Markiesha truly means a lot to me and words can't even express how much I value our friendship. Just to let you know I love ya Markiesha and I hope you like your special mention in the blog! I am America's Nightmare...
